About Us

Who We Are

We are the independent editorial team behind taylormadeit.com.au, an information and review website dedicated to helping Australians navigate the world of pokies. Our team researches, tests, and writes about venues and platforms offering pokies across Australia, publishing honest assessments our readers can rely on.

It's important to be clear: we are an information and review service only. We are not a gambling operator, we do not accept bets or wagers, and we do not run any gambling products. Everything you read on taylormadeit.com.au is editorial content designed to inform, not to facilitate gambling transactions.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to help readers across Australia make informed, safe choices when searching for pokies near me. Whether you're looking for a local venue, comparing gaming options, or simply trying to understand how pokies work, we aim to give you clear, accurate, and practical information.

We believe that good decisions come from good information. That's why we focus on transparency, accuracy, and reader-first content in everything we publish in 2026 and beyond.

Editorial Independence

We want to be upfront about how this website is funded. taylormadeit.com.au earns affiliate commissions when readers follow certain links and engage with the operators we feature. This is how we keep the site running and our content free for readers.

However, these commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, ratings, or reviews in any way. Our opinions are our own, based on our research and assessment criteria. If we find shortcomings in a venue or platform, we say so — regardless of any commercial relationship. Trust is the foundation of what we do, and we won't compromise it.

Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling

Gambling should always be treated as entertainment, never as a way to make money or solve financial problems. Our content is intended strictly for readers aged 18 and over, in line with Australian law.

We encourage all readers to set limits, gamble only what they can afford to lose, and take breaks when needed. If gambling stops being fun, or if you're concerned about your own gambling or that of someone you know, we urge you to seek support. Australians can access free, confidential help through services such as Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) and other state-based support programs.
